\r\n[Financial News] President Lee Jae Myung held his first phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten on the 7th and congratulated him on taking office. Jetten took office in February and is the youngest prime minister in Dutch history and the country's first openly LGBTQ+ prime minister.
\r\nAccording to Kang Yoo-jung, Chief Presidential Spokesperson at the Blue House, President Lee said, "I am glad to speak with Prime Minister Jetten," and congratulated him on his inauguration.
\r\nPresident Lee noted that this year marks the 65th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and said the two countries should seek ways to expand practical cooperation not only in semiconductors, but also in artificial intelligence (AI), Quantum and other fields.
\r\nPrime Minister Jetten responded positively. Chief Presidential Spokesperson Kang said, "Prime Minister Jetten expressed agreement and said he hopes the two countries will maintain strong cooperation in the strategically important semiconductor sector while also deepening ties in other areas such as battery and offshore wind power."
\r\nThe two leaders also agreed to continue close cooperation amid growing global uncertainty caused by developments in the Middle East and elsewhere.
