[Financial News] Netflix will release a range of new content on Parents' Day, from a Lim Young-woong trot compilation to romantic comedy dramas.
\r\nAccording to the online video service industry on the 8th, Netflix will unveil "Romantic Call Centre: Lim Young-woong Binge Watch" that day. Romantic Call Centre is a live phone singing show in which the top seven contestants from Mr. Trot 3 take calls from across the country, hear callers' stories and song requests, and sing the requested songs on the spot. This release brings together Lim Young-woong's various performances from Romantic Call Centre in one place. It runs for five hours, centered on his standout moments, from traditional trot to ballads and hip-hop.
\r\nThe romantic comedy My Royal Nemesis, starring Lim Ji-yeon and Heo Nam-jun, will also be released that day. The story follows Shin Seo-ri, a struggling actress possessed by the soul of a Joseon-era villainess, and Cha Se-gye, a ruthless chaebol heir born of capitalism, as they fall in love.
\r\nViewers can also watch the film Remarkably Bright Creatures, based on the bestselling novel of the same name. The movie tells the story of Tova, who works the night shift at an aquarium in a small town, and how she becomes friends with the clever octopus Marcellus and a man named Cameron, who has lost his sense of direction in life. Sally Field, known for Norma Rae and The Amazing Spider-Man, plays Tova, while Lewis Pullman, from Top Gun: Maverick and Thunderbolts, plays Cameron. Alfred Molina, from Spider-Man: No Way Home and Frozen II, will provide the voice of Marcellus, the octopus watching over them.
