Russia Has No Plan to Leave OPEC+... Respects UAE's Decision to Withdraw

[The Financial News] Russia has no plan to withdraw from OPEC Plus (OPEC+), the oil-producing group that includes non-OPEC members, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the 29th local time.
According to foreign media reports, Peskov told reporters that OPEC+ had stabilized the global oil market. He stressed that Russia is not considering leaving OPEC and OPEC+ next month, following the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
He said Russia respects the UAE's decision to leave OPEC and OPEC+, adding, "We welcome the UAE's promise to show responsibility in the energy market."
Peskov said existing OPEC+ agreements had been effective, and that Russia would continue to respect the current framework.
He also said, in response to whether Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to speak with UAE President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (MBZ), "Not yet."
