KOSPI rises 0.75%, nearing the 6,700 level [fn closing market report]

[Financial News] The KOSPI Composite Index closed slightly higher.
On the 29th, the KOSPI Composite Index ended trading at 6,690.90, up 49.88 points, or 0.75%, from the previous session.
It opened at 6,619.00, down 22.02 points, or 0.33%, from the previous day.
In the KOSPI Market, foreign investors sold 210.4 billion won worth of shares. Retail investors also posted net sales of 82.9 billion won. Institutions, meanwhile, bought 342.6 billion won worth.
Among the largest-cap stocks, Samsung Electronics rose 1.58%, while SK Hynix fell 0.62%.
By sector, chemicals gained 3.80%, and transportation equipment and parts rose 1.02%.
The KOSDAQ Index closed at 1,220.26, down 4.68 points, or 0.39%, from the previous day.\r\n
