\r\n[Financial News] Hyundai Motor Company unveiled the interior and exterior design of the facelifted Grandeur, 'The New Grandeur,' on the 28th.
Since the first-generation Grandeur debuted in 1986, it has served as Hyundai Motor Company’s flagship model and a leading force in Korea’s sedan market. The New Grandeur is a facelifted version of the seventh generation, which launched in November 2022. It stands out for major upgrades to its design and product appeal, aiming for a transformation that feels like a new car.
\r\nHyundai Motor Company said the New Grandeur’s exterior preserves the model’s existing dynamism and dignity while improving overall balance through more refined proportions. At the front, a longer hood and a pronounced shark nose are paired with a new mesh-pattern grille to create a more upscale image. Thinner, longer lamps reinforce a futuristic look, while the body length has been extended by 15 mm to 5,050 mm to achieve balanced proportions.
At the rear, slimmer combination lamps and hidden turn signal lamps concealed in the upper garnish add a high-tech feel. A wing-type garnish has also been applied to the lower bumper.
Inside, the cabin continues the 'premium lounge' concept while enhancing user experience and a sense of luxury. Hyundai Motor Company has equipped the model with a 17-inch center display featuring Pleos Connect, its next-generation infotainment system based on Android Automotive OS (AAOS), the first of its kind for the company. Physical buttons have also been added for more intuitive operation.
Electric air vents have also been introduced, allowing climate functions to be controlled through the display. The door trim uses a couch-inspired pattern and ambient lighting to create a more comfortable atmosphere.
In addition, Hyundai Motor Company has, for the first time, applied the Smart Vision Loop, which allows the transparency level to be adjusted electronically, to increase openness. It also expanded the opening area to create a more spacious cabin feel. To add a more luxurious touch, the company introduced Artisanal Burgundy, a color inspired by lacquer, to both the interior and exterior.
To expand customer touchpoints before launch, Hyundai Motor Company will run an Early Pass pre-notification event through the 13th of next month. Customers who apply will receive product information, launch schedules, and test-drive details first. Those who take delivery will also be entered into a prize drawing.
A Hyundai Motor Company official said, "The New Grandeur is a model that delivers near-new-car-level completeness by significantly adding new features and refining the details," adding, "It will offer customers who expect a premium sedan a higher level of mobility experience."
