According to OTT ranking site FlixPatrol on the 24th, 'Perfect Crown' took first place in four countries, including Brazil, Japan, South Korea (ROK), and Taiwan, as of yesterday, the 23rd. The series is being distributed in 37 countries.
Set in a fictional version of the Republic of Korea as a 21st-century constitutional monarchy, 'Perfect Crown' follows a status-defying romance between Seong Huiju (IU), a chaebol heiress who is nonetheless a commoner, and Grand Prince Ian (Byeon Woo-seok), the king's second son who holds only a title.
The SBS Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Sold Out on You,' starring Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin, ranked No. 2 globally on Netflix's TV show chart. Ahn Hyo-seop drew major attention for his role in the drama 'Business Proposal' and for voicing Jinu in the animated film 'KPop Demon Hunters.'
As of the 23rd, it ranked No. 1 in a total of 16 countries and regions, including Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Mexico, and entered the top 10 in 73 countries and regions overall.
Premiering on the 22nd, 'Sold Out on You' is a romance drama about Matthew Lee, a perfectionist young farmer, and Dam Yejin, a home-shopping host obsessed with selling out every item, whose lives become entangled day and night. With the second episode, the two leads began to intertwine in earnest, setting the stage for the romance.
