[The Financial News]  Israel is preparing to resume the war to eliminate the Ali Hosseini Khamenei regime in Iran, Israeli Minister of Defense Israel Katz said.
On the 23rd local time, The Jerusalem Post reported that after Katz held a meeting, he said the IDF is prepared for both defense and offense and has designated airstrike targets inside Iran.
Katz stressed that only U.S. approval remains for the attack.
He said all of Iran's national infrastructure and strategic facilities are exposed to attack, adding that "Iranian leaders are currently hiding in tunnels and struggling to communicate and make decisions, yet they are publicly claiming victory."
Looking ahead to future strikes, he warned that they would be "deadly in a way unlike before" and added, "We will strike the most painful points, shake the foundations of the regime, and bring it down."
Katz said, "The Iranian regime specializes in suppressing its own people by mobilizing the IRGC and the Basij militia," criticizing Iran for not caring at all about the cost borne by civilians, just like its proxy forces Hamas and Hezbollah.
In this regard, social media expert Epi Banai said on local radio station 103FM that there is an unusual atmosphere inside Iran.
Banai criticized the regime, saying, "To prevent large-scale protests from spreading, the Iranian regime is deploying foreign militias brought in from Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan. They are moving in trucks, dressed in plain clothes and carrying machine guns, to create an atmosphere of fear."
He also said local residents have been sharing on social media that these men speak Arabic rather than Persian language. Banai explained that this shows the Iranian regime is extremely afraid that its own people, driven by hunger and despair, will flood the streets.
