According to the industry on the 24th, Xiaomi launched the "Redmi Pad 2 Pro Learning Edition" for students in China.
The biggest feature of the Redmi Pad 2 Pro Learning Edition is its AI tutor. With real-time Q&A, it enables one-on-one personalized learning that feels like a classroom lesson. It also includes an AI-powered homework grading feature. With a single click, users can instantly check whether an assignment answer is correct. For wrong answers, the AI tutor provides feedback to help fill learning gaps. In addition, users can access more than 150,000 lectures and educational materials.
The device is powered by Qualcomm's 4-nanometer Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor. It comes in a single model with 8 gigabytes of RAM and 128GB of storage. It supports 33-watt fast wired charging. It also supports 27W reverse wired charging, allowing it to charge other devices. The battery capacity is 12,000mAh.
It features a 12.1-inch display with 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Certified by TÜV Rheinland, it is designed to minimize eye strain during long periods of use. With support for Hi-Res Audio and Dolby Atmos, it delivers clear sound even in noisy environments. The Redmi Pad 2 Pro Learning Edition has a starting price of 2,699 yuan, or about $396, or about 580,000 won. That is significantly higher than the 1,799 yuan, or about $264, or about 390,000 won, price of the standard version released last year, which has the same RAM and storage capacity.
