[Financial News] Devsisters said its Cookie Run pop-up store in Times Square, New York City (NYC), surpassed 10,000 cumulative visitors just two days after opening. Targeting its North American fan base, the event brought in the largest overseas merchandise shipment in the company's history. With goods sales and hands-on content at the center, the pop-up has become an early test of its local appeal and is expected to give further momentum to Devsisters' global character business expansion.
Devsisters announced on the 22nd that it opened the offline pop-up store 'New York with CookieRun' at the LINE FRIENDS Store in New York's Times Square from the 17th to the 26th, local time.
The local response has been stronger than expected, with long lines forming from the first day as visitors waited to enter the store. Some fans even traveled 2,400 kilometers from Oklahoma City, underscoring the depth of the Cookie Run IP's North American fan base. Over the weekend, on-site events such as character greetings and voice actor autograph sessions drew crowds, boosting both dwell time and purchase conversion rates.

Interactive content was also prepared on site. The event features a Cookie Run photo booth with a New York-exclusive frame, a roulette game offering popular products as prizes, character greetings, and a CookieRun: Kingdom voice actor autograph session. Last weekend, fans who wanted to join the first-come, first-served autograph session for Gabriela Milo, the English voice of Eternal Sugar Cookie in CookieRun: Kingdom, began lining up at the store as early as 6 a.m.
Meanwhile, Devsisters plans to accelerate the global expansion of its character merchandise business, starting with this Cookie Run pop-up in New York. It will expand overseas shipping regions for the CookieRun Store while opening an official Amazon Store to strengthen its global distribution channels. In addition, the company plans to attend the Licensing Expo in Las Vegas in May to secure local partnerships related to character merchandise.
