The commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force has threatened to destroy oil infrastructure in the Persian Gulf region.
According to Al Jazeera on the 21st local time, Majid Mousavi, commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, warned Iranian media that any further 'aggression' against Iran would be a serious mistake.
He also said that oil facilities in the Persian Gulf region would be damaged if neighboring countries allowed the U.S. to carry out attacks.
Mousavi warned, "If southern neighboring countries allow enemies to use their facilities to attack Iran, they will have to say goodbye forever to oil production in the Middle East."
The U.S. maintains military bases and stations troops in several countries in the Persian Gulf region.
