[The Financial News] The title track "SWIM" from BTS (Bangtan Boys)'s fourth full-length album "Arirang" ranked No. 10 on Billboard's main songs chart, the Billboard Hot 100.
It has stayed in the top 10 for four consecutive weeks since entering the chart at No. 1 on the 4th.
According to Billboard's chart preview article on the 21st, "SWIM" took No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 dated the 25th. It also held No. 1 on Digital Song Sales for the fourth straight week.
Its long run on the Billboard Hot 100 suggests that BTS's music has reached a much broader audience. That trend is also visible in album sales.
According to Billboard's chart preview published the previous day, on the 20th, "Arirang" ranked No. 3 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200, remaining in the top three for four consecutive weeks.
BTS's popularity is also spreading to the live performance market. The BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG' has sold out 46 shows across Korea, Japan, North America, and Europe. The world tour will span 85 performances in 34 cities around the globe.
Meanwhile, BIGHIT MUSIC is expanding the BTS THE CITY ARIRANG project worldwide, building on the tour's strong momentum and transforming entire cities into festival grounds. The project, which began in Seoul, will move to Las Vegas in May and Busan in June.
