White House 'Optimistic About Iran Ceasefire Talks'

The White House said on the 15th (local time) that the administration of Donald Trump "feels positive about the prospects for an agreement" with Iran.
According to Cable News Network (CNN), the White House noted that Pakistan is emerging as the leading candidate to host the second round of in-person talks between the two countries.
Earlier, President Trump said in an interview with the New York Post the previous day that talks could resume "within two days" in Islamabad, Pakistan.
In an interview with Fox Business the same day, he also said that the 2026 Iran War is "almost over."
In a separate interview with Sky News, he stated that the 2026 Iran War would end within this month.
