In an interview with United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) outlet Sky News on the 14th (local time), Trump was asked whether an agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran was possible before Charles III makes a three-night, four-day state visit to the United States of America (US) from the 27th to the 30th of this month. He replied, "It is very possible. They [Iran] have taken quite a beating." He also hinted to the New York Post and ABC that a second round of peace talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran in Islamabad, Pakistan, was imminent.
Trump also told Fox Business that day, "I think the war is almost over," adding, "I believe it is very close to being brought to an end."
