Samsung Electronics announced on the 15th that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra ranked first in CR's latest smartphone evaluation for U. S.
consumers. Three consecutive years at the top of highly influential Consumer Reports CR is a highly influential monthly consumer goods magazine published by a U.S. consumer advocacy organization.
With this result, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra has now taken first place in CR’s smartphone rankings for three consecutive years, following the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra secured sole possession of first place with an overall score of 88 points, based on a combination of performance tests, reliability, and user satisfaction.
Out of CR’s 10 performance evaluation items, it received a perfect score of 5 in seven categories, including display, rear camera image quality, battery, durability, and ease of use. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra followed in a tie for second place with 87 points each.
