[Financial News] On the 14th, after the funeral service, Kim Seung-ryong, commissioner of the National Fire Agency, visited Wando and Haenam County in South Jeolla Province to console colleagues of the fallen firefighters and to check working conditions at the scene and the status of their psychological recovery.
The National Fire Agency (NFA) stated on the 14th that after completing the funeral service for the late Fire Captain Park Seung-won and the late Fire Sgt. Noh Tae-young, Commissioner Kim visited Wando Fire Station and Haenam Fire Station in succession.
Kim first visited the 119 rescue unit at Wando Fire Station, where the late Fire Captain Park Seung-won had served, and offered words of comfort to his fellow firefighters. He stressed, "Above all, it is most important that you take care of your hearts and regain your composure," urging that special attention be paid to stabilizing the mental health of those deeply shocked by the sudden loss of a colleague.
In particular, he ordered that active measures be taken to help those who were on the scene with the fallen firefighters recover physically and mentally, including granting special leave. He also emphasized that the personal belongings of the deceased, which will be delivered to the bereaved families, should be carefully sorted and handed over with utmost sincerity.
Kim encouraged the firefighters, saying, "I know this is a very difficult time, but I hope you will lean on one another and take good care of your health."

Kim said, "It pains me even more to have lost such a precious colleague," and asked, "Please organize the late firefighter's belongings with great care and deliver them to the bereaved family." He went on to tell the firefighters at the center, "Right now, what matters most is looking out for one another and regaining your emotional balance," adding, "Please take good care of your health and find the strength to return to protecting the front lines once again."
