[Financial News] Meta Platforms, Inc. has begun developing an "artificial intelligence (AI) Zuckerberg" that replicates the appearance, speaking style, and personality of Chief Executive Officer Mark Elliot Zuckerberg, with the aim of automating communication with employees. AI Zuckerberg will be trained on Zuckerberg’s past remarks, internal messages, and public interviews so it can answer employees’ questions in a way that closely resembles the real CEO.

On the 13th (local time), the Financial Times (FT) reported that Meta Platforms, Inc. is working on AI Zuckerberg, which will be able to interact with employees in real time. Zuckerberg himself is said to be involved in the project.
The goal of AI Zuckerberg is to provide answers that reflect Zuckerberg’s own views when employees ask about company strategy or policies. Meta Platforms, Inc. believes this could make communication between management and staff more efficient and speed up the flow of information.
The project is still in its early stages, and the scope of its actual deployment and whether it will be made public have not yet been decided.
If the project succeeds, it is expected to mark a turning point for the full-scale use of AI in corporate management. However, some observers warn that AI could end up replacing or distorting a CEO’s decision-making. They point out that if, in sensitive matters, the AI delivers interpretations that differ from the CEO’s real position, it could become unclear who should be held responsible.
