Escaped Daejeon O-World wolf 'Neukgu' found; authorities working to rescue him

According to The Financial News, Neukgu, a male wolf that escaped from the Daejeon O-World zoo, has been located by search authorities. Officials have moved in to close range and are carrying out a rescue operation.
On the 14th, the Daejeon Metropolitan City Government said that the previous night a report was filed with the fire authorities about a wolf sighted in a wooded hill in Musu-dong, Jung-gu, Daejeon. The location is on the lower slopes of Odosan Mountain, about 1.5 kilometers in a straight line from Daejeon O-World. After confirming that the animal was Neukgu, search teams from the fire department and police were dispatched. Authorities have prepared tranquilizer guns and capture equipment and are getting ready to seize him at close range. This is the first time Neukgu has been spotted by authorities since the early morning of the 9th.
