According to The Financial News, BTS will head to Busan to mark the anniversary of their debut on June 13.
Their agency Big Hit Music announced that BTS will hold concerts at Busan Asiad Main Stadium on June 12 and 13.
This will be BTS’s first return to Busan Asiad Main Stadium in three years and eight months, since the "Yet to Come in Busan" concert in October 2022, which was held to support the bid for World Expo 2030 Busan.
For the Busan shows, fan-club presales will open at 8 p.m. on the 29th via NOL Ticket, followed by general sales at 8 p.m. on the 30th. The concerts will also be available through online live streaming and live viewing.
Earlier, BTS kicked off the Arirang World Tour at Goyang Stadium on April 9 and 11–12, performing for some 132,000 fans over three days. From there, they will head to Japan on April 17–18, then continue with 85 shows across 34 cities in North America, Europe, South America, and other parts of Asia.
Meanwhile, their fifth full-length album "Arirang" has been breaking records on Billboard since its release and remains at the top. "Arirang" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart dated April 4, achieving the best performance by a group album since Billboard introduced its unit-based tally in December 2014. First-week pure album sales, including physical and digital purchases, reached 532,000 copies, marking the highest weekly sales for a group album in more than a decade.
On Spotify’s latest weekly chart (April 3–9), "Weekly Top Albums," the album held the No. 1 spot for a third consecutive week, and it reclaimed the top position on Germany’s Offizielle Deutsche Charts "Top 100 Albums" dated April 10. In Japan, it ranked No. 2 on Oricon’s "Weekly Digital Album Ranking" and on the "Oricon Combined Albums Chart" weekly ranking. It also placed second on the "Top Albums" chart of France’s Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP) and on the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) "ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart."
