"Neukgu Still Missing on Fifth Day After Escape"...Response Team Continues Search Within 6 km Radius

[The Financial News] The whereabouts of Neukgu, the wolf that escaped from Daejeon O-World, remained unknown as of the 12th, the fifth day of the search.
According to the joint response team, up to 10 drones were deployed for detailed searches through the 11th, but they failed to track Neukgu’s movements. An overnight search using fire department drones equipped with thermal imaging cameras also produced no results.
On the fifth day of the operation, the joint response team is continuing the search with 11 drones during the day and 12 at night. The search area remains within a 6-kilometer radius, as before.
On the 11th, the team received seven reports from the areas of Yongjeon-dong, Sajeong-dong, and Indong-dong, including claims such as "there is a wolf carcass" and "I saw a wolf." However, investigations confirmed that all of them were mistaken reports.
A member of the response team said, "We conducted an all-night search using two fire department drones, but we were unable to locate Neukgu," adding, "The search will continue within the same area as before."
