"I argued with my parents" — man in his 20s arrested after fire set on six floors of officetel

According to Financial News, a man in his 20s who said he "had argued with his parents" and then went through the floors of the officetel where he lives setting fires in anger has been arrested by police.
Incheon Namdong Police Station announced on the 8th that they had arrested a man identified only as A on suspicion of arson of an occupied building and were questioning him.
Police stated that around midnight on the same day, A is suspected of going through the 7th to 12th floors of the officetel where he lives in Guwol-dong, Namdong District, and setting fire with a cigarette lighter to smoke control equipment installed in the corridors.
The fire burned six circuit boards for smoke control dampers, causing property damage estimated at 1.03 million won. About 120 residents were also evacuated.
Fire authorities, who were dispatched after residents reported "a burning smell," extinguished the fire at around 12:31 a.m.
During police questioning, A stated that he "did it because he had argued with his parents."
A police official said, "We plan to seek an arrest warrant for A on the grounds of preventing public danger."
