[The Financial News] Lee Jun-seok, leader of the Reform Party (South Korea), personally demonstrated proof of his graduation from Harvard University during a YouTube livestream.
On the 6th, Lee wrote on his social networking service (SNS), "Since I was appearing on a Christian Broadcasting System (CBS) program for the first time in a while today, I logged into the Harvard alumni website and the academic records site live on air, downloaded my transcript listing Computer Science and Economics, and made it public."
During CBS Radio’s "Park Jae-hong's One Shot Debate" that day, Lee used a laptop prepared by CBS. After going through biometric verification and password entry, he accessed the Harvard alumni site (Harvard Alumni) and showed on air that he had a double major and had indeed graduated.
Hardline conservative YouTubers such as Jeon Han-gil and Kim Young-yoon had questioned his claim that he double-majored in computer science and economics at Harvard University, saying they could not believe it. In response, Lee directly verified his graduation.
On the program, Lee explained, "The name appears as Jun Seok Andy Lee because, during class, my professors had difficulty pronouncing my Korean name in English, so I used Andy," adding, "Quincy House is the dormitory where I lived, and the field listed before graduation is 'CS/Econ', which is a double major in computer science and economics."
He went on, "In the past, even when I offered to do this, Jeon Yu-gwan (Jeon Han-gil) told me not to. But in fact, I had already made this public on Facebook several years ago," stressing that there is no room left to dispute the authenticity of the documents.

He added, "I will watch to see whether Jeon Yu-gwan decides, even today, to apologize and put an end to his life as a conspiracy theorist, or whether, now that things have come to this, he will keep cashing in to the very end with the mindset of a profiteer," unleashing a sharp criticism.
