[The Financial News] Jisoo, a member of Blackpink who is also active as an actor, has drawn attention for giving her employees luxury bags worth several million won each.
Staff at Jisoo’s independent label BLISSOO recently posted photos on social media showing off the luxury bags they received as gifts.
Captions such as "I love you, CEO," "Jisoo is the best," and "Thank you, boss" hinted that the gifts came from Jisoo. The photos showed employees making finger hearts while posing with their new Dior bags.
According to Star News, Jisoo personally prepared the gifts. She chose bags from French luxury house Christian Dior, for which she serves as a global ambassador, and presented them to her staff.
One of the items is the Miss Caro Mini Bag, crafted in black lambskin with macro-cannage stitching that creates a distinctive quilted effect. The bag features a flap with a gold CD twist-lock closure and comes with an adjustable chain strap, allowing it to be worn as a handbag, shoulder bag, or crossbody. It is currently priced at 4.45 million won on Dior’s official website.
Earlier this year, Jisoo launched her own label BLISSOO in 2024 and began pursuing solo activities.
She is also continuing her acting career, recently appearing in the Netflix original series "Boyfriend on Demand."
Meanwhile, Christian Dior, where Jisoo serves as a global ambassador, has raised its prices again in the Korean market this year.
In February, Dior increased prices on its jewelry line by about 6%.
With the latest hike, the Dior Rose des Vents ring in pink gold with diamonds and pink opal went up from 6.5 million won to 6.9 million won, an increase of 400,000 won.
