First-priority subscription competition for 'Acro de Seocho' hits 1,099 to 1, called "all-time high"

According to the Korea Real Estate Board (KREB)'s Cheongyak Home platform on the 2nd, Acro de Seocho closed its first-priority subscription on the 1st with an average competition ratio of 1,099 to 1. Excluding special supply, 32,973 applications were submitted for 30 units. In particular, for the 59m2 Type A units, 26 homes drew 29,535 applications, resulting in the highest competition ratio of 1,135 to 1.
This marks the highest competition ratio ever for a private housing sale in Seoul. The previous record was set by "DH Daechi Edelweiss" in Gangnam District, which posted an average ratio of 1,025 to 1 when it went on sale in October 2024.
Earlier, in the special supply round held on the 31st of last month, 19,533 subscription accounts were submitted for 26 units, resulting in an average competition ratio of 751 to 1. For the 59m2 Type A units under the first-time homebuyer special supply, 7,589 applications were received for just 4 units, pushing the ratio to 1,897 to 1.
Acro de Seocho is being built at 1333 Seocho-dong in Seocho District, Seoul, as a reconstruction of the Seocho Shindonga 1st and 2nd Apartment Complex. The project will consist of 16 apartment buildings with 4 basement levels and up to 39 above-ground floors, offering a total of 1,161 units ranging from 59m2 to 170m2 of exclusive area. Successful applicants will be announced on the 9th, and contract signing will take place over four days from the 20th to the 23rd.
Move-in is scheduled for February 2029.
