[The Financial News] Seoul Land announced that it will run a special April Fools’ Day event on April 1, offering free admission even to holders of rival parks’ annual passes. Branded as the “Fool Seoul Land!” event, it allows Everland or Lotte World annual pass holders to enter for free if they present their pass at the Seoul Land gate and shout, "I’m a Seoul Land annual pass holder." The offer applies to the pass holder only and is valid for free admission on that day.
There are also benefits for accompanying guests. Up to three companions visiting together can purchase park admission tickets at a 50% discount. The event will be held for one day only, on April 1, April Fools’ Day.
The timing of this event is drawing even more attention. The area around Seoul Land is lined with cherry trees that are more than 20 years old, creating a strong sense of spring just by taking a walk. Together with Seoul Land, nearby Seoul Grand Park is filled with cherry blossoms, tulips, forsythias, azaleas, and other spring flowers in full bloom, making it one of the capital region’s representative spring outing destinations.
Seoul Land has also prepared “Cherry Blossom-cation” content for this period. In the Jurassic Land zone, a cherry blossom wish-tag event will take place. Visitors can enjoy a different view of the blossoms while riding the sky bicycle attraction Turning Mecard Racing and the Black Hole 2000 roller coaster.
Meanwhile, Seoul Land is currently hosting the “K-Dopamine Festival.” This festival reinterprets globally popular K-culture in Seoul Land’s own style, and features K-Retro experiences, K-food, and K-pop performances all in one place.
In particular, the “Ojingeo Stationery Store” will offer a variety of interactive programs every weekend starting from the first week of April. On the weekends of the first and second weeks of April, popular mini car competitions such as Tamiya and HitRacer will be held.
A Seoul Land representative stated, "For this spring season, we planned content that goes beyond simply viewing spring flowers, so that customers can actively participate and have fun." The representative added, "From the April Fools’ Day event to cherry blossoms and K-culture content, we hope visitors will enjoy a special spring that can only be experienced at Seoul Land."
