According to The Financial News, Chef Park Eun-young, 35, known as the “goddess of Chinese cuisine” from Season 1 of the Netflix cooking reality show "Culinary Class Wars," is getting married.
According to News1 and other outlets on the 30th, Chef Park will hold her wedding this May at Hotel Shilla in Jung District, Seoul.
News of Chef Park’s wedding surfaced after the previous day’s episode of the JTBC variety show "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," where host Kim Sung-joo announced, "There is a chef here who has wedding news to share."
Her fiancé is reported to be a doctor, but a representative from Chef Park’s agency JSCNI told News1, "It is difficult to disclose anything beyond the wedding itself," declining to provide further details.
In 2024, Chef Park appeared on Season 1 of "Culinary Class Wars" as the so-called “goddess of Chinese cuisine” from a humble background. She is known as a disciple of master Chinese chef Lu Ching Lai, who appeared on the same program as a chef from a more privileged background.
Chef Park currently runs a restaurant in Gangnam District in Seoul. Since her appearance on "Culinary Class Wars," she has gone on to feature in a range of variety shows, including JTBC’s "Please Take Care of My Refrigerator," Channel A’s "Chef's Touch: The Perfect Meal," and "We Can't Just Change Our Home?!"
