[Financial News] BTS (Bangtan Boys) are extending their global success with a large-scale stadium tour across major South American cities. The group will hold their first full-group concerts in Bogotá and Buenos Aires, while the complete sell-out of their world tour dates and the strong chart performance of their new album "Arirang" are reinforcing their influence.
BTS to light up major South American cities

According to Big Hit Music on the 30th, BTS have announced stadium concerts in key cities across South America.
Starting in October in Bogotá, Colombia, they will stage 11 shows in five South American cities: Lima in Peru, Santiago in Chile, Buenos Aires in Argentina, and São Paulo in Brazil.
This will be the first time BTS visit Colombia, Peru, and Argentina as a full group. Jin previously appeared as a guest at Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour stop in Buenos Aires in October 2022, where he performed his first solo single "The Astronaut."
Leading Peruvian daily El Comercio, reporting on the Lima concert, described BTS as "one of the most influential cultural phenomena of the 21st century." The paper also projected that the shows would go beyond a simple music event and generate significant economic ripple effects for the local area.
46 shows sold out, dominance in the European music market

BTS's world tour has been selling out every date at high speed. Their upcoming concerts at Tokyo Dome on April 17–18 in Japan are also fully sold out. Including already sold-out shows in Goyang, North America, and Europe, all 46 scheduled concerts have no tickets left. According to global concert promoter Live Nation Entertainment, BTS sold around 2.4 million tickets across 41 shows in North America and Europe alone.
Brokerage analysts estimate BTS's global tour revenue by assuming an average ticket price of about 300,000 won. Based on that assumption and an audience of roughly 2.4 million for the North American and European legs, pure ticket sales are projected to reach around 720 billion won. This figure excludes revenue from tour-related merchandise, sponsorships, and broadcast rights, meaning total sales are likely to be significantly higher.
Meanwhile, BTS's fifth full-length album "Arirang," released on the 20th, is performing strongly on global charts. The album entered the UK's Official Albums Chart Top 100 (for March 27–April 3) at No. 1. Title track "SWIM" reached No. 2 on the Official Singles Chart Top 100, setting a new personal best for the group. The album also topped the "Top Albums" chart (for March 20–26) published by the Syndicat National de l'Édition Phonographique (SNEP) in France. In Germany's official music charts dated March 27, both the album and its title track took No. 1 on the albums and singles charts, respectively; BTS's previous best on Germany's Official Singles Chart was No. 6 with "Butter." On Australia's ARIA Charts, the group simultaneously topped the ARIA Top 50 Albums Chart and the ARIA Top 20 Vinyl Albums Chart.
