President Lee to Hold 'Dialogue with Small and Medium-Sized Business Owners' at Cheong Wa Dae, Hear Voices from the Field

[Financial News] President Lee Jae-myung will preside over a meeting titled "Dialogue with Small and Medium-Sized Business Owners" at Cheong Wa Dae on the 20th. The event, held under the slogan "For the Leap of the 99% of the Republic of Korea," is intended to encourage small and medium-sized business owners and to listen to opinions from the front lines of industry. The dialogue will be broadcast live.
From Cheong Wa Dae, Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-sik, Policy Chief Kim Yong-beom, and Senior Secretary for Economic Growth Joon-Kyung Ha will attend. From the government, Minister of SMEs and Startups Han Seong-sook, Minister of Employment and Labor (MOEL) Kim Young-hoon, and Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) Chair Joo Byung-ki will join. From the private sector, representatives and employees of small and medium-sized enterprises from various industries and regions, as well as industry experts, will participate, bringing the total number of attendees to 171.
After President Lee’s opening remarks, Minister of SMEs and Startups Han Seong-sook will present on "A Strong Republic of Korea Built by Innovative SMEs." Minister of Employment and Labor (MOEL) Kim Young-hoon will speak on "Balanced Regional Growth Through Nurturing Local Talent," and Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) Chair Joo Byung-ki will give a presentation titled "Creating a Fair Market Environment for Shared Growth."
This will be followed by presentations from three small and medium-sized business owners, who will share best practices on innovating corporate organizational culture. In addition, an in-depth discussion will take place on the themes of innovation, regions, and fairness, which will then lead into an open discussion session.
