New York City (Financial News) – Reporter Lee Byung-chulAs U.S. President Donald Trump and the State of Israel continue airstrikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Israeli officials have asserted that Iran’s nuclear and missile capabilities have been effectively neutralized.
On the 19th (local time), Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed at a press conference that, "After 20 days of airstrikes by the United States of America (U.S.) and the State of Israel, the Islamic Republic of Iran no longer has the capability for uranium enrichment or ballistic missile production."
He stated, "We are winning, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is being devastated," adding, "Iran’s missile and drone forces have been greatly weakened and will ultimately be completely destroyed."
Netanyahu stressed that the current air campaign goes beyond simply striking military facilities and is targeting the very foundation of Iran’s defense industry. He explained, "What we are destroying now are the factories that produce the parts needed for missile and nuclear weapons production," and added, "We are eliminating the Islamic Republic of Iran’s military production capacity itself."
Netanyahu also emphasized that any revolution requires a ground operation component. He said, "Air power alone cannot topple a regime," and insisted, "Operations on the ground are also absolutely necessary."
