According to TN Entertainment on the 18th, Kim Hee-jae will take the stage as Romeo in ‘Romeo and Juliet,’ which opens on the 24th at the KEPCO Art Center in Seoul. With his first performance scheduled for 2:30 PM on the 25th, Kim Hee-jae is currently boasting his ticket power with all seats sold out.
‘Romeo and Juliet’ is a French musical that premiered in Korea in 2009. Opening in Korea for the first time in approximately 17 years, this season inherits the philosophy of the original while being upgraded with a more sophisticated sensibility.
The Romeo played by Kim Hee-jae is a character who possesses both pure love and a tragic destiny. Kim Hee-jae has previously established himself in the musical theater world through the musicals ‘Mozart!’ and ‘Your Lie in April’.
Meanwhile, Kim Hee-jae proved his versatility by passionately singing various songs including trot, ballads, and pop during his nationwide tour concert ‘Heeyeol’, which concluded last January.
