[Financial News] Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, commented on the possibility of artificial intelligence (AI) cooperation with Naver Corporation, saying, "We will discuss it."
On the morning of the 18th, Su visited the Naver 1784 Headquarters in Seongnam City and told reporters, "We plan to discuss many more things today."
When asked whether she would expand AI cooperation with Korean companies, she replied, "Of course."
In response to a question about plans for cooperation with Samsung Electronics’ foundry business, she briefly answered, "There are many things to discuss."
Su was reported to have met with Naver CEO Choi Soo-yeon that day to discuss supplying AI accelerators and exploring cooperation in AI data center operations.
Naver Corporation is expanding large-scale infrastructure needed to run its own AI models. After Nvidia, AMD is seen as a potential key partner that could support this effort.
In the afternoon, Su is scheduled to visit Samsung Electronics’ Pyeongtaek campus to hold talks with semiconductor division executives, including CEO and Device Solutions Division head Jun Young-hyun.
