[Financial News] Ahead of their comeback on March 20, BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) has unveiled a preview of their new single "SWIM." At midnight on the 18th, BTS posted a teaser for the music video of "SWIM," the title track of their fifth full-length album "Arirang" (ARIRANG), on their official social networking service (SNS) accounts and YouTube channel. The clip reveals the song's melody for the first time, heightening anticipation for the group's return after three years and nine months.

Museum ship model transforms into a glittering sea

The teaser opens with a woman rushing into an empty museum and hurriedly looking around the exhibition space. She stops in front of a large ship model and stares at it, unable to look away. One by one, the surrounding lights go out until only the model remains under a spotlight. The scene then shifts to a sea where the surface shimmers with reflected light. The teaser ends as the word "SWIM" appears over the gentle waves.
Director Tanu Muino helmed the project, creating a film-like visual piece. Tanu Muino previously worked on Jung Kook's "Standing Next to You" music video and has collaborated with artists such as Post Malone, Doja Cat, and Dua Lipa.
BTS will release their new album "Arirang" at 1 p.m. on the 20th. Executive producer Bang Si-hyuk oversaw the project, which explores BTS's identity and universal emotions that many listeners can relate to. The title track "SWIM" is an upbeat alternative pop track that sings about continuing to swim forward through the waves of life without stopping. RM took charge of most of the lyrics, capturing what BTS wants to express at this moment.
Following their comeback, BTS plans to stay active with a series of events. At 8 p.m. on the 21st, they will hold "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG" around Gwanghwamun Square. Then, on the 24th, they will team up with global audio and music streaming platform Spotify to host "Spotify x BTS: SWIMSIDE" in New York City. There, BTS is scheduled to meet local fans and perform their new song live.
