[Financial News] Robert Kiyosaki, author of the bestseller "Rich Dad Poor Dad," has warned of a sharp downturn in the global economy and predicted that some asset prices will soar after the crisis.
On the 17th (local time), Kiyosaki wrote on his social networking service (SNS), "The biggest bubble in history is about to burst."
He stressed, "We don't know exactly what event will trigger the collapse of the bubble, but the collapse itself is already unavoidable. It's only a matter of time."
Kiyosaki predicted that about a year after the economic crisis, the prices of gold, silver, and Bitcoin will skyrocket.
He forecast that gold could rise to $35,000 per ounce and silver to $200 per ounce.
In particular, he drew attention by predicting that Bitcoin could surge to $750,000 per coin, about 10 times higher than its current level.
Earlier, on the 15th, he revealed on SNS, "Last week I used millions of dollars in cash to buy additional oil wells, gold, silver, and Bitcoin." He added, "If you don't have a plan for how to use cash in a crash, the wisest move may be to do nothing at all."
Kiyosaki said, "I am convinced that after a massive crash, the prices of gold, silver, and Bitcoin will rise," while also conceding, "Of course, my prediction could be wrong."
