Four Korean Nationals Evacuated from Iran to Neighboring Country; One More Korean and Two Iranian Family Members to Arrive the Day After Tomorrow

[The Financial News] The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that four Korean nationals who departed from Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran (Iran), on the 12th have completed their evacuation to Turkmenistan.
An additional group consisting of one Korean national and two Iranian nationals is scheduled to arrive on the 14th. They will enter Korea in two separate groups, depending on their outbound flights from Turkmenistan.
The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Turkmenistan assisted to ensure that the entry procedures for the Korean nationals into Turkmenistan proceeded smoothly.
Embassy staff also accompanied them on their journey to the capital, Ashgabat, providing necessary consular assistance to minimize any inconvenience. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, "We will continue to closely monitor developments in the Middle East and take necessary measures to ensure the safety of Korean nationals staying in the region and to support their return home."
