[Financial News] Members of a progressive civic group entered the Democratic Party of Korea headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, and staged a surprise protest, prompting a police response.
According to political sources on the 12th, four members of the civic group Candlelight Action entered the Democratic Party of Korea headquarters at around 1 p.m. that day, and police were dispatched to the scene.
Members of Candlelight Action were reportedly holding a banner reading "Impeach Cho Hee-dae" and calling for Prosecution Reform and other measures.
Police are reviewing whether to apply the charge of unlawful entry to a building and plan to decide whether to arrest them on the spot as flagrant offenders.
