Lee Boo-jin’s annual pay cut by 250 million won despite profit...received 1.464 billion won last year

[Financial News] It has been confirmed that Hotel Shilla president Lee Boo-jin received 1.464 billion won in annual compensation last year.
According to the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) on the 11th, Hotel Shilla paid Lee 1.092 billion won in salary, 353 million won in bonuses, and 19 million won in other employment income such as medical support and health checkups, for a total of 1.464 billion won last year.
This is 247 million won, or about 14%, less than the 1.711 billion won she received in 2024. In 2024, Lee was paid 1.366 billion won in salary, 341 million won in bonuses, and 4 million won in other employment income.
President Han In-gyu received 890 million won in compensation last year, down 181 million won from 1.071 billion won in 2024. Han’s salary came to 668 million won, bonuses to 165 million won, and other employment income to 57 million won.

Meanwhile, Hotel Shilla returned to the black last year, supported by growth in its hotel business driven by an influx of foreign tourists and reduced costs in its duty-free business. On a consolidated basis, operating profit reached 13.5 billion won, while revenue rose 3.1% year-on-year to 4.0683 trillion won.
