Trump Says U.S. Sunk 10 Iranian Vessels Laying Mines in Strait of Hormuz

According to The Financial News, President Donald Trump of the United States of America (U.S.) stated that the United States military launched an immediate strike and destroyed 10 Iranian vessels that were attempting to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz.
Foreign media including the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that on the 10th (local time), President Donald Trump announced on his social networking service (SNS), "I am pleased to report that over the last number of hours, we hit and completely destroyed 10 Iranian ships and boats that were laying mines," adding, "There will be much more to follow."
President Donald Trump also edited an earlier post in which he had warned that Iran was trying to plant mines in the Strait of Hormuz, adding a much stronger message in response to what he called Iranian provocations.
He stressed, "We are using the same technology and missile capabilities that we used to take down drug traffickers to permanently remove any ship that attempts to lay mines in the Strait of Hormuz."
He further warned, "They will be dealt with very quickly and violently. Be careful!"
