Identity of 20-year-old suspect Kim So-young in 'Gangbuk motel serial killings' case made public

The identity of the suspect in the "Gangbuk motel serial killings" case has been made public.
According to the legal community on the 9th, the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office has decided, after review by the Personal Information Disclosure Review Committee, to disclose for 30 days the name, age, mugshot and other details of the suspect, 20-year-old Kim So-young, in the "Notices and Announcements" section of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office website.
Kim was transferred to the prosecution in custody on charges including murder, aggravated assault and violation of the Narcotics Control Act on the 19th of last month. She is accused of giving drinks containing benzodiazepine-based drugs to three men in their 20s between mid-December last year and the 9th of last month, causing them to lose consciousness or die. After two additional men believed to be victims were identified, police have expanded the scope of their investigation.
