According to Financial News, Yeonjun of Tomorrow X Together (TXT) will take part in the official soundtrack for the 2026 World Baseball Classic (WBC).
Big Hit Music stated on the 6th that on the 5th (local time), the official song for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, "Make It Count," featuring Yeonjun of TXT, was released on music platforms in Korea and abroad.
The track is the main song among three produced under the direction of two-time Grammy Awards–winning producer Tainy. Yeonjun is credited as a primary artist on "Make It Count" alongside global pop stars Becky G and Myke Towers. He further stands out by performing part of the lyrics in Korean.
This is the first time the WBC has released an official soundtrack. Yeonjun is the first and only Korean singer to participate in this project.
Yeonjun has long been praised for his strong live vocals and commanding stage presence. He has shone not only in group activities but also with his solo tracks. With his first solo mixtape "GGUM" in 2024, he cemented his status as a leading K-pop performer, and with his first mini album "NO LABELS: PART 01" released last November, he broadened his musical spectrum.
Meanwhile, TXT, the group Yeonjun belongs to, will release their eighth mini album "7TH YEAR: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns" on April 13. It will be their first group album since renewing their contracts with their agency Big Hit Music last year.
