At the policy coordination meeting held at the National Assembly that day, Han warned that rising military tensions in the Middle East were increasing uncertainty for the real economy at home, saying, "This is a national emergency. The National Assembly must urgently step up to draw up measures for the people’s livelihoods and the economy." He then criticized, "Yet what is the main opposition People Power Party doing right now? It has thrown people’s livelihoods aside, is obsessed with 'Yoon Again' rallies outside parliament by supporters of former President Yoon Suk Yeol, and is carrying out a boycott of the National Assembly."
Earlier, the People Power Party had maintained a stance of completely refusing the National Assembly schedule in protest against the DPK’s push to railroad key bills. However, it still attends the Special Committee handling the Special Act on Managing Strategic Investment between South Korea and the United States, also known as the Special Act on Investment in the United States, as well as meetings of the Legislation and Judiciary Committee of the National Assembly. In addition, on the same day, the party held a protest-style general meeting of its lawmakers in front of Cheong Wa Dae (the Blue House), where a State Council (cabinet) meeting was being held, to block the promulgation of the three judicial reform bills, which cover the proposed offense of law distortion, expansion of Supreme Court justices, and a court constitutional petition system.
Han said, "If the People Power Party truly wants to be a responsible political party, it must end this far-right circus and return to the National Assembly immediately," urging, "Cooperate in running the National Assembly so that we can protect the national interest of the Republic of Korea and the livelihoods of its people."
