Track list for BTS (Bangtan Boys)’s fifth studio album “Arirang”

[Financial News] BTS (Bangtan Boys) is returning with the new song “SWIM,” which sings of a love for life. Their fifth studio album “Arirang” includes 14 tracks in total, led by the title track “SWIM,” and unfolds a narrative that encompasses the group’s journey so far and their identity. In particular, RM took charge of most of the lyrics for “SWIM,” adding authenticity to the song’s message.
According to Big Hit Music on the 4th, BTS posted the track list for their fifth studio album “Arirang” on the group’s official social media accounts that day.
Title track is “SWIM”

The new album features 14 songs, including the title track “SWIM,” “Body to Body,” “Hooligan,” “Aliens,” “FYA,” “2.0,” “No. 29,” “Merry Go Round,” “NORMAL,” “Like Animals,” “They Don’t Know ’Bout Us,” “One More Night,” “Please,” and “Into the Sun.”
The title track “SWIM” is an upbeat alternative pop song. It describes an attitude of continuing to swim forward through the waves of life without stopping. Rather than fighting against the oncoming current, the song expresses a determination to move through it calmly at one’s own pace, framing this mindset as a “love for life.”
Opening track “Body to Body” is an anthem about enjoying the moment together with the audience at their concerts. “Hooligan” captures the time they have spent blazing a trail around the world. The album also includes “Aliens,” which reflects their ambitions toward the world, and “FYA,” which channels the heat of their comeback. “2.0” portrays where the seven members stand now as they enter a new phase.
Following the sixth track “No. 29” and the title track, “Merry Go Round” tells a story of enduring the repetitive cycles of life. “NORMAL” deals with the emotions they feel on and off stage. “Like Animals” conveys a determination to live passionately, while “They Don’t Know ’Bout Us” expresses the confidence that “we’re just who we are.” “One More Night” sings of wanting to linger a little longer in a blissful moment. “Please” captures the honest desire to stay together no matter what the circumstances, and “Into the Sun,” centered on a confession of running toward “you,” brings the album to a close.
Last summer, BTS held a songwriting camp in Los Angeles to work on the music. Star producers including Grammy Awards winner Diplo, Ryan Tedder, and El Guincho joined the project, raising the album’s overall quality.
BTS will release “Arirang” at 1 p.m. on March 20. The following day, on the 21st, they will hold “BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG” around Gwanghwamun Square. The performance will be broadcast live on Netflix.
