According to The Financial News, a Brazilian woman who stalked BTS member Jung Kook has been indicted while in custody.
On the 3rd, legal sources said the Crimes against Women and Children Investigation Department of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office, led by Prosecutor Wang Seon-ju, indicted a Brazilian woman in her 30s, identified as A, on May 27 on charges of violating the Anti-Stalking Act and unlawful entry into a residence.
From December last year to January this year, A allegedly went to Jung Kook's home more than 20 times, rang the doorbell, and threw mail, among other acts of stalking.
During questioning by prosecutors, she claimed it was "an act driven by my love for Jung Kook," but prosecutors determined that her conduct constituted stalking.
On December 13 last year, A was arrested at the scene on suspicion of unlawfully entering Jung Kook's home, then released, but she continued her behavior.
Police had issued an emergency restraining order barring her from coming within 100 meters of his residence, but after she again attempted to approach Jung Kook's home, she was arrested and referred to prosecutors on May 19.
