Renault Korea sells 3,893 vehicles in February, down 36.2% year-on-year

[The Financial News] Renault Korea announced on the 3rd that it sold a total of 3,893 vehicles in domestic and overseas markets in February.
Exports came to 1,893 units, up 55.4% from a year earlier. However, domestic sales fell 59.0% to 2,000 units, bringing total sales down 36.2% year-on-year.
In the domestic market, its best-selling midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Renault Grand Koleos, sold 1,474 units, while the coupe-style SUV Renault Arkana sold 336 units. The compact electric SUV Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric recorded sales of 150 units.
For export models, 847 units of the Renault Grand Koleos (export name New Renault Koleos) and 546 units of the Renault Arkana were shipped. In addition, 500 units of Polestar’s electric performance SUV, the Polestar 4, for the North American market were also shipped.
Renault Korea’s new crossover, the Renault Filante, has accumulated around 7,000 pre-contracts as of the end of February and is scheduled to begin customer deliveries in the second week of March.
