On the 2nd (local time), Roh personally guided Jung through the Samsung Electronics exhibition hall at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, walking him through the products and technologies on display.
When Jung showed interest in the new Privacy Display on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra, which offers enhanced protection for personal information, he joked, "All the film companies must be going out of business." Roh replied, "If you put on a film, you lose the freedom to choose, but with Samsung’s Privacy Display, you can selectively hide specific apps or areas of the screen." Jung responded, "It really feels like you’ve nailed exactly what customers actually need."
During a demo in the Galaxy Buds4 sound room, Jung asked, "Do they serve not only as earphones but also as microphones?" Roh answered, "They have three microphones in each bud, six in total, and they deliver perfect noise canceling."
At the Samsung Galaxy Extended Reality (XR) demo, Jung took off his glasses to try the device himself, and he also experienced the antioxidant index measurement feature on the Galaxy Watch.
After touring the Samsung Electronics booth, Jung told reporters, "Samsung Electronics seems to have done a really good job identifying what consumers need most," adding, "The technology itself may not be extremely complex, but the fact that they captured that idea shows Samsung Electronics is a company that stays ahead."
Jung also hinted at plans to deepen cooperation with Samsung Electronics. Saying it was his first time meeting Roh, he noted, "I think we’re going to be seeing each other a lot from now on," and stressed, "Samsung Electronics and SK Telecom are inseparable business partners."
Jung toured the Meta and Xiaomi booths as well, together with Samsung Electronics. Speaking about Xiaomi, he commented, "To be honest, I’m a bit surprised," and added, "They seem to be showing the full picture of how everything connects in the AI era."
