[Financial News] LG CNS announced on the 2nd that it will carry out large-scale recruitment of experienced professionals in the first half of this year, hiring in the triple digits to secure experts in future core business areas such as artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics.
The recruitment will span key business areas including AI, Robotics, global finance, consulting, data center, ERP, and Smart Factory. Candidates with hands-on experience and expertise in the relevant fields can apply regardless of their academic background or years of experience. LG CNS plans to hire practical talent capable of applying the latest technologies to industrial sites and driving business innovation.
The main AI roles will be responsible for designing and implementing AI models and services optimized for customers’ businesses. LG CNS AI Transformation (AX) talent will develop Agentic AI tailored to various sectors such as finance, the public sector, manufacturing, and the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, building AI capabilities specific to each industry.
In the public sector, LG CNS worked with the Bank of Korea (BOK) to conduct the nation’s first proof-of-concept for a digital currency automatic payment system based on Agentic AI, and is carrying out large-scale projects such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Intelligent AI Data Platform. In finance, the company is pushing ahead with major AX projects including NongHyup Bank (NH Bank)’s generative AI platform and Mirae Asset Life Insurance’s next-generation information system. In the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, it has built Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical’s Automated Product Quality Evaluation System using Agentic AI and signed a project contract related to the K-AI Drug Development Platform led by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The Robotics role will execute robot-based automation projects in logistics and manufacturing sites. These roles will train robots so they can be rapidly deployed in industrial environments and will enhance operation and control platforms to ensure stable and efficient robot performance.
LG CNS is currently conducting Proof of Concept (PoC) projects for industrial humanoid robots with more than 10 logistics and manufacturing clients. LG CNS robot transformation (RX) talent will be able to build capabilities across the entire lifecycle of robots in real industrial environments, from training and deployment to continuous advancement.
To advance its RX business, LG CNS is strengthening a system to secure technology at a global level. Through its AI & Robotics Research & Development Center in Silicon Valley, the company is researching next-generation, cutting-edge robot technologies, while its domestic Future Robotics Lab focuses on field-oriented robot technology R&D for real-world deployment. LG CNS is also expanding strategic partnerships with global robotics companies, including Skild AI.
LG CNS provides a work environment where employees can freely use a wide range of AI resources to enhance their capabilities in new technologies. The company offers ChatEXAONE from LG AI Research and ChatGPT Enterprise from OpenAI, enabling the use of generative AI across internal business operations. It also operates an AI Prompt Studio, which allows users to compare and validate around 20 versions of major AI models such as Claude, Google Gemini, and ChatGPT in one place, while supporting AI service development.
