SK Telecom will set up a 992-square-meter exhibition booth in Hall 3 of Fira Gran Via. The theme of the booth is "SK Telecom's AI that creates infinite opportunities and possibilities." Fira Gran Via, the area most visited by attendees, is considered the main battleground of MWC, where competition over cutting-edge future technologies and services takes place. At this year's MWC, SK Telecom plans to exhibit a total of 27 items across zones dedicated to AI infrastructure, AI models, AI services, and the AI ecosystem, signaling a technology showdown with Samsung Electronics, Intel, MS, Deutsche Telekom, Qualcomm, and others. The company will also highlight collaborations with various domestic and international partners.
The company aims to visualize how "new opportunities and possibilities created by AI expand infinitely." To this end, it will install five large transparent LED "Infinite Gate" structures suspended from the ceiling of the booth.
The exhibition space will feature a 6-meter-tall antenna-shaped "Communication Tower" equipped with 18 LEDs on its pillars and upper section, broadcasting imagery symbolizing "communication." In addition, SK Telecom will install distinctive symbolic structures such as an "AI DC server room," a modular AI data center-style space that uses 11 LEDs to present its AI data center solutions.
There will also be an interactive event for visitors built around the theme of full-stack AI. Participants will drive a remote-controlled (RC) forklift to move components that represent AI infrastructure, models, and services, stacking them to help visitors understand the concept of full-stack AI.
Many exhibits will be available for hands-on experience. SK Telecom will also stage a live demonstration of "A.X K1," Korea's first ultra-large AI model with 519 billion parameters, which advanced to the second phase of the government's Proprietary AI Foundation Model (Independent AI Foundation Model Project, K-LLM) initiative in January.
Kwon Young-sang, Head of Computing Support Office at SK Telecom, stated, "The opportunities and possibilities created by AI are no longer realized by a single technology, but are completed only when every stage is organically connected," adding, "Through our MWC 2026 exhibition, we will show how SK Telecom's full-stack AI can expand its value in the global market."
