Barcelona, Spain – Reporter Jang Min-kwonSamsung Electronics will showcase "Galaxy AI" and AI-based network innovation technologies at Mobile World Congress 2026 (MWC 2026), which opens on the 2nd (local time).
According to industry sources on the 1st, Samsung Electronics has set up a 1,745-square-meter exhibition booth at the Fira Gran Via venue in Barcelona, where MWC 2026 is taking place. The main theme is the Galaxy AI features newly built into the recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy S26 series.
Visitors will be able to try out a range of features firsthand, including the smartphone-first "Privacy Display," which limits visibility of the screen from the side; the enhanced camera performance of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with a wider aperture; "Nightography," which delivers clear image quality even in low light; an improved "Photo Assist" that lets users edit images by entering natural-language instructions; and "Creative Studio," which can transform images into various styles.
Samsung Electronics will also highlight Galaxy AI experiences that recognize the user’s situation and context to suggest relevant information and assist with tasks. These include "Now Nudge," which proposes information tailored to the user’s real-time circumstances; "Now Brief," which provides useful information and tasks based on the user’s daily schedule; and "Circle to Search," which lets users draw a circle on any screen to explore related information.
The exhibition will feature dedicated zones where visitors can experience the more convenient AI voice call features of the "Galaxy Buds 4" series, Galaxy AI capabilities running on the Samsung Galaxy Book 6 series, and Galaxy AI-powered multitasking optimized for large screens on the Galaxy Tab S11.
Samsung will also unveil personalized health experiences based on Samsung Health, linked with the "Samsung Galaxy Watch 8" series.
Beyond consumer devices, Samsung Electronics will present its agentic AI strategy aimed at expanding into the AI infrastructure domain.
Through its "AI-Driven Factories," which pursue AI-based autonomous manufacturing, Samsung Electronics will showcase a next-generation production environment that understands conditions on the manufacturing floor in real time and autonomously optimizes processes. The company will also share its health platform strategy, including a connected-care vision built through synergies with Xealth.
For global telecom operators and other enterprise customers, Samsung Electronics will set up a separate exhibition area to introduce AI-optimized virtualized networks and next-generation solutions, and to present its vision for fully automated networks. Exhibits will include the "Samsung CognitiV Network Operations Suite," which supports efficient automation across the entire lifecycle of network planning, deployment, operation, and optimization using AI, as well as various AI agents and usage scenarios that operate autonomously through their own decision-making.
The company will also unveil "Network-in-a-Server," a next-generation AI solution for enterprises. This software-based integrated solution consolidates multiple network functions into a single server, helping companies build and operate 5G private networks more efficiently and cost-effectively.
In addition, Samsung Electronics will display its newly developed lineup of high-performance network chipsets; a range of high-performance, compact, and low-power base stations; and next-generation end-to-end virtualized network solutions developed in collaboration with various partners.
Roh Tae-moon, Head of the Device eXperience (DX) Division at Samsung Electronics, said, "MWC 2026 is an opportunity to showcase both the current state of Galaxy AI and where it is headed," adding, "We will continue to expand the possibilities of mobile technology, keeping the user experience at the heart of every innovation."
