[Financial News] Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, was spotted at the runway show of Italian luxury brand Prada. His appearance is fueling speculation about a possible collaboration between Prada and Meta in the smart glasses business.
According to reports from The New York Times (NYT) and others on the 26th (local time), Zuckerberg attended Prada’s 2026 Fall/Winter fashion show in Milan, Italy, together with his wife Priscilla Chan.
Zuckerberg and Chan were reportedly seated alongside Prada CEO Andrea Guerra and Lorenzo Bertelli, the Prada family heir and chief marketing officer (CMO), chatting as they watched the show.
Previously, in November last year, CMO Bertelli stated that Prada was in talks with EssilorLuxottica regarding the development of Meta smart glasses under the Prada brand.
EssilorLuxottica, best known for its Ray-Ban brand, holds a license agreement to develop Prada-branded eyewear through 2030.
EssilorLuxottica also said last year that more than 7 million units of Meta AI glasses had been sold.
