KOSPI Falls on Foreign Net Selling [Afternoon Market Update]

The Financial News reported that the Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) is on a downward trend as foreign investors turn net sellers.
As of 1:02 p.m. on the 27th, the KOSPI was trading at 6,269.83, down 37.44 points, or 0.59%, from the previous session.
The index opened the day at 6,197.49, down 109.78 points, or 1.74%, from the previous day.
In the Korea Exchange Securities Market (KOSPI market), foreign investors have been net sellers of 5.6171 trillion won. In contrast, individual investors and institutions have been net buyers of 5.2673 trillion won and 167.2 billion won, respectively.
Most large-cap stocks by market capitalization are declining. Samsung Electronics is trading slightly lower, down 0.46%, while SK Hynix is also weak, falling a little over 2%.
At the same time, the KOSDAQ Index was trading at 1,193.16, up 5.01 points, or 0.42%, from the previous day.
