Samsung Electronics announced on the 22nd that it will supply its luxury built-in kitchen brand Dacor to every home in Aripeka, a premium housing community in Viera, State of Florida.
Located near Orlando, Viera sits in the Space Coast, a region known as a hub of the aerospace industry, and is characterized by its upscale residential environment.
Aripeka is a single-family housing development of 260 homes now under construction, with completion targeted for 2027. Four high-end custom builders—Lifestyle Homes, Joyal Homes, CDS Home Builders, and Stanley Homes—are collaborating on the project, which is regarded as the most luxurious premium single-family community in Viera.
Dacor built-in appliances not only deliver strong performance but also feature a built-in design that blends seamlessly with kitchen cabinetry. They are connected to Samsung SmartThings, making the products easy to use and enabling differentiated connected experiences such as whole-home energy management. These strengths earned recognition from the four builders.
The Dacor appliances to be installed in Aripeka include six product types: a single-door column refrigerator and freezer, a full-column wine cellar, a dishwasher, a 48-inch dual steam range, and a pro canopy wall hood.
The single-door column refrigerator uses premium metal materials to line the entire interior, keeping ingredients fresh and hygienic. Its precise temperature control technology minimizes internal temperature fluctuations to preserve the taste and texture of food. It also features the industry’s first automatic door-opening function, which allows users to open the door with a light touch even when their hands are full.
The full-column wine cellar protects wine from heat, light, humidity, and vibration, maintaining it in optimal condition like a traditional wine-aging cellar. Its three independent compartments can each be set between 4°C and 18°C, allowing wines to be stored at the ideal temperature for their characteristics.
The dishwasher is equipped with a StormWash function that thoroughly removes stubborn stains from dishes, and an Auto Release Door feature that automatically opens the door at the end of the cycle to dry dishes quickly and efficiently.
The 48-inch dual steam range has a dual structure consisting of a steam oven and a convection oven, enabling users to cook different dishes at the same time. The steam oven uses steam to cook food more healthily and quickly, while the convection oven features a four-level Pure Convection system that prevents flavors and odors from mixing and distributes heat evenly throughout the cavity.
Samsung Electronics is actively supplying Dacor and other business-to-business (B2B) appliances to the U.S. market, focusing on expanding its B2B business with major builders. The company also plans to provide Dacor appliances to single-family homes built by Park Square Homes and Jones Homes, both trusted builders in the State of Florida.
Lee Sang-jik, vice president of the Digital Appliances Business Division at Samsung Electronics, said, "Supplying Dacor to Aripeka demonstrates that Samsung’s technological capabilities and brand reliability are being recognized in the North American market." He added, "With the Dacor lineup, which combines premium design, outstanding performance, and connectivity through Samsung SmartThings, we will actively expand our presence in the North American B2B market."
