Fans will be able to experience BTS’s new world tour on the big screen.
According to HYBE’s music label BigHit Music on the 13th, the BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ concerts to be held in Goyang on April 11 and in Tokyo on April 18 will be available as Live Viewing screenings. Live Viewing is a relay service where large audiences gather in one venue to watch concerts or sports events together in real time.
Starting with the main stadium at Goyang Stadium in Gyeonggi Province on April 9, BTS will embark on a large-scale world tour covering 34 cities with a total of 82 shows. The Goyang concert, which opens the tour, and the Tokyo concert, which marks the start of the global leg, are already drawing intense interest from music fans.
This Live Viewing event will take place in more than 3,500 theaters across 75 countries and regions worldwide. Due to time differences, some locations will show the concerts on a delayed schedule, and the number of participating countries, regions, and theaters is expected to grow further. In Korea, screenings will be held at major multiplex chains CGV, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox. Ticket sales will begin at 10 a.m. on the 25th.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their fifth full-length album, titled ‘ARIRANG,’ at 1 p.m. on March 20. From the album’s release date through April 12, they will host “BTS The City: ARIRANG in Seoul.” This experiential project combines music and media, with installations integrated into the cityscape to be showcased at various locations around Seoul.
